Tessa Santelli

Hi everyone! My name is Tessa Santelli and I studied abroad during Summer A 2023 on the UF in Florence-Global Perspectives program. While in Florence, I took the Global Perspectives class that UF offers, which allowed me to see the beautiful museums of Florence, explore the markets in town, go on wine tastings in the countryside, and ultimately immerse myself in the culture. My major is in public health, and while the classes I took abroad didn't relate to my course of study, I embraced this unique opportunity to broaden my horizons and gain a new perspective on the world. These six weeks abroad taught me invaluable lessons and allowed me to step outside my comfort zone to see what the world has to offer.
