Rachael Friederich

Hi!! My name is Rachael Friederich (she/her) and I studied abroad in Cape Town, South Africa as a rising sophomore during Summer A 2022. While abroad, I took two writing courses and volunteered with a nonprofit organization called Khoisan Women on the Move. I truly got the full Cape Town experience through cooking classes, museum visits, nature explorations, guided tours, and so much more. Studying abroad was genuinely one of the most enriching and formative experiences of my life thus far. It broadened my passion for travel, advocacy, and adventure. I am so grateful for the memories and friends I gained!
