Hello! My name is Megan Meese. I am a third-year Anthropology and International Studies student with minors in History, Spanish, and Nonprofit Organizational Leadership. I have had the opportunity to study abroad in four locations: Valencia, Spain; Rome, Italy; Utrecht, the Netherlands; and Berlin, Germany. I have lived in student accommodations with peers and in homes with host families. I have also taken classes with UF professors, local professors, UF students, and international students. As a Jewish woman, I can speak to the experience of being a minority abroad and offer advice for navigating that situation. My two programs were very different, so I can answer questions about most program types (and scholarships) from personal experience. Please chat with me! I am happy to answer your questions and help you plan your study abroad experience!
