Karina Garcia-Leal

I studied abroad in Cardiff, Wales in the UK where I did an internship at a charity called Support Through Court housed in a civil justice center and took a writing class called Writing in International Relations. The internship consisted of helping clients who did not have the means to access legal representation, while the course taught me all about interdisciplinary documents like policy briefs, abstracts, position papers, and more. I also worked on the Innocence Project and wrote an investigative report and published in The Justice Gap, a journal run by Cardiff University.
