Jamie Knox

Hi!! I'm Jamie and I studied abroad and interned in London during Fall 2023 of my Junior year. I enrolled in classes that applied to my English major, such as Literary London and British Life and Visual Media, as well as courses that allowed me to explore personal interests like Understanding Art Through London's Collections. Education took on an entirely different meaning--class field trips to historic sites, landmarks, and museums enabled an immersive type of learning to better understand London's culture. During the latter half of my program, I participated in an internship with a well established UK art gallery. Building professional connections on an international stage has been invaluable in cultivating social, employable, and transferable skills. My time abroad was a once-in-a-lifetime growing experience both personally and professionally.
