Hi! My name is Diego and I’m a 4th year Psychology major on the Pre-Med Track. UF in Bologna - Clinical shadowing was one of the best experiences of my life where I got shadow medical professional in four different fields, and got to immerse myself in the Italian culture for a whole month. I met some of the most amazing on the people and learned valuable information from my unique experiences in and out of the hospitals. It’s one thing to read news articles about the healthcare system in Europe, and specifically Italy, but it’s a completely different thing when you’re in the flesh and looking at how doctors interact with patients, the technologies in the hospital, the day to day routines, and the medical procedures they do. Highly recommended to anyone that is looking to gain shadowing hours in a special way.
