Carmen Karsonovich

 Hi! My name is Carmen and I'm a second year Biochemistry major with a Spanish minor. My study abroad experience was UF in Cusco - Experiential Learning for the Health Professions. During my summer in Peru, I had the chance to stay with a host family, shadow doctors in a local health clinic, explore Incan ruins, and bond with my fellow UF classmates. Studying abroad was an irreplaceable experience that impacted me in a way I couldn’t have imagined before. It was amazing to improve in my Spanish, connect with others, grow in my independence, and push myself out of my comfort zone everyday! I hope that everyone gets the chance to study abroad!
