Ashton Khan

I’m currently a senior studying Business Administration. I studied abroad in Spring 2024 via the UF in Madrid program with the Heavener Business School. My biggest takeaway is that the world is much larger than Gainesville, and it’s easy to get caught up in our daily routines, forgetting the diverse cultures and experiences that exist beyond our hometown. Studying abroad in a major capital city opened my eyes to countless stories and traditions from people around the globe. I encourage everyone to step outside their comfort zones and embrace the adventure of discovering new places. Immersing yourself in a new city for a semester can expand your horizons and foster personal growth in independence and confidence, positively impacting all areas of your life.
