Angie Lopez

Hi! My name is Angelina Lopez and I am a second year biomedical engineering student! I am originally from Miami, FL, and I am half-cuban, half-spanish! During the summer C term of 2024, I had the chance of participating in a UF Exchange Program at Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid, Spain. Over the course of 8 weeks, I took a spanish language course as well as participated in a BME-related research program at the university! I met lifelong friends, traveled to multiple countries, and had the chance to connect to my cultural roots. This was the experience of a lifetime, and I believe everyone should have the same opportunity that I did in studying abroad.
