Hi! My name is An and I am a third-year Public Health student minoring in Medical Geography, Anthropology, and Health Disparities. I had the great opportunity of studying abroad in Salzburg for the Summer A term of 2023. Austria is truly the hidden gem of Europe - there's a little bit for everyone in the country. Salzburg is a city filled with history and beautiful architecture, and I really consider it to be my home away from home. My favorite memories of studying abroad include hiking the Austrian Alps with my clothes on my back with some amazing friends, as well as the late-night walks to our nearby McDonald's. Despite my lack of prior academic experience in the program subject, our local professor was amazingly accommodating and such a captivating lecturer. I recommend that everyone visit Austria at least once!
